Collaborate Better

The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at Vibrant Foods were struggling to harness the full potential of working collaboratively and identified the need to enhance their interdependence as a team. The team faced immense pressure as an FMCG company dealing with the aftermath of COVID-19 and grappling with significant supply chain problems. We initiated a Leadership Programme created for the purpose of working together better. The SLT aimed to enhance psychological safety, tap into collective intelligence and collaboratively solve complex problems. 

The Collaborate Better programme ran for six months, involving monthly training sessions and one to one coaching for each of the twelve SLT members.

Through a series of exercises to establish psychological safety and facilitated discussions, the SLT created a foundation to bring their different perspectives and collaboratively address complex issues. The SLT became more aware of their interdependencies across the organisation which helped to align efforts more effectively. The SLT committed to working groups and regular meeting cycles, which provided them with dedicated opportunities to build working relationships, align to strategy and collaborate on resolving complex issues. The SLT evolved into a more cohesive unit to serve the organisation.
